About This Project

Never had I imagined that I would be working for an orchestra one day. Life happened and I started out working in Marketing for the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (the German Symphonic Orchestra Berlin). I started as a student employee and ended up as Head of Marketing. What an exciting time. While the main goal was to fill all those seats at the Berlin Philharmonic, of course there was much more to this job than just selling tickets. From making sure that the original brand became well-known and loved in Berlin and further away, to planning the look and feel of the respective upcoming season, to cooperations with partners from newspapers and organizations, to organizing and supporting events dedicated to educate the public – young and old – and to introduce them to classical music and the impact it can have on ones life.
